Never heard before attractions you’ll want to visit this year!

Good thing about travel is that you can never have done it all. There are always new places to explore, new experiences to have.

Whether you are a rookie or an experienced traveller, you will not run out of options. More unchartered places are discovered every day. More attractions are being opened to meet the hunger of travellers.

A simple Google search will tell you that you must go island hopping when in Bangkok or go see the Burj Khalifa when in Dubai. These are must-sees and I am not disputing it. Please do tick off such places when visiting. I mean it is not Las Vagas until you hit the casinos and see those world-famous shows.

However, there are many hidden gems that you should also go see. We have created a list of 10 such attractions – most are lesser known and some are newer.

Go discover these new places!

1) 4D Adventure Land Singapore

Singapore loves to do things king-size. Love birds? It will put more than 2500 bird species in one park for you. Love flora? It will give you a garden beyond your imagination. So why would it be any different when it comes to rides? Three dimensional is passé. This attractions takes your experience to the next level. Situated at Sentosa Island, 4D Adventure Land is a high-tech interactive zone with three exciting experiences – Journey 2, Extreme Log Ride and Desperados. A one-day pass will give you access to all three screenings.

Journey 2 is The Rock’s movie which was a huge success. It is a family adventure drama which is a treat to all your senses. Extreme Log Ride is the most thrilling of all three. All you have to do is wear your glasses and set on your adventure to the Himalazon – a blend of the Himalayas and the Amazon. Desperados is based on its namesake computer game. With it you can participate in a gunfight to defeat enemies. I need not say more!

It provides a glimpse into the local culture and tradition. This longest running attraction consists of five acts namely The Tiger King, The Prisoner With Eight Limbs, The Warrior With Broken Swords, The Lethal Art of Muay Thai, and The Passion Fighter.

As the name suggests, the first act is inspired by the legend of ‘Tiger King’, the 30th King of the Ayudhaya period who was greatly fond of Thai boxing. The second act is based on a Thai warrior known for his superior boxing skill and swift move as if he had eight limbs. The third act talks about a warrior who fights with both swords in his hands to defend the city after the collapse of Ayudhaya. The fourth act is the most thrilling as it depicts the most dangerous techniques of the ancient art. Lastly, act five is like a Bollywood masala twist where a fighter uses this martial art to rescue his love from kidnappers. Totally worth spending an evening watching this when in Bangkok.
